Create a Boundary Surface - V19.0

The Boundary Surface creation tool added to FreeForm Machining allows surfaces to be easily created from closed boundary profiles. Boundary profiles can be 2D, resulting in planar trimmed surfaces, or 3D resulting in surfaces that follow the contour of the boundary profile and a specified exemplar surface.

This surface creation tool is primarily used to create "cap" surfaces, to cover holes or gaps in other surfaces for machining purposes. By capping the voids toolpath can be generated which flows smoothly across a hole or void.
