The Automation/Customization section of Learning SmartCAM, has been extended with a new topic named Helpful Macro Recipes. This topic contains short helpful examples and explanations of how to complete common macro programming tasks.

For example, there is information on checking that a model is loaded, verifying that there is an active group selected, checking whether a step or layer is active, reading and writing text to/from a file, and a number of other common activities.
