Caldwell Named V.P. of Sales & Marketing

February 5, 2004 - Eugene Oregon - SmartCAMcnc, developers of SmartCAM, announced today that Hugh Caldwell has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company.

Mr. Caldwell comes to SmartCAMcnc with 14 years sales and marketing experience in the high tech sector, nine of them in the CAM and CAD/CAM software industries. He most recently served as Regional Sales Manager for Phase One Electronics Inc. for the past three years. Prior to that, he served eight years in the sales marketing and marketing communications departments for the Point Control Company, CAMAX Manufacturing Technologies, and Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC). His most recent position with SDRC was as Manager of Technology Implementation for the Sales Development group. He also served two years as Marketing Manager for Abracadata, Inc., a CAD software developer.
