SmartCAM Advanced Fabrication v12 Released

April 15, 2005 - Eugene Oregon - SmartCAMcnc has announced the release of SmartCAM Advanced Fabrication v12. Already in release are SmartCAM CAM Connection v12, Production Milling v12, Production Turning v12, and Advanced Turning v12.

SmartCAM Advanced Wire EDM v12 is scheduled for release at the end of April 2005, with SmartCAM Advanced Milling v12 , CAM Connection v12.1 for IGES Surfaces & Wireframe Geometry, and FreeForm Machining v12 due out shortly following.

Version 12 represents the SmartCAMcnc’s first release of its industry- pioneering software since the company was founded in December, 2003. Prior to that time, the software sat idle while it was owned but not developed by a series of companies. These new releases are the first by any company since 1998.
