Topic: Clean Un-install of SmartCAM

Problem:

Add/Remove does not clear out all SmartCAM installed files and settings.

Details:

Uninstall SmartCAM applications by using the "Add/Remove Programs" utility found in your Windows Control Panel. The following is a list of files installed during a "Typical Installation". Some files may not exist depending on your application. Delete or edit these files as follows:

C:\windows\

(or C:\winnt\)

acrograf.ini

acroread.ini

acrosrch.ini

cam.ini

camcon.ini

comm.ini

ctk.ini

edplus.ini

machdef.ini

smartcam.ini

 

C:\sm9\

(or C:\sm11\)

Remove complete directory tree

 

C:\sm9cfg\

(or C:\sm11cfg\)

Remove complete directory tree

 

 

C:\windows\

(or C:\winnt\)

Edit and Remove:

ElanLM section of the Win.ini file.

 

Remove the SmartCam program groups and icons from: C:\windows\startmenu\programs
