Topic: How do I run CAM Connection V11 (or earlier) after installing V12?

Problem:
V12 CAM Connection has replaced v11 in my application(s).
 

Solution:
For stand-alone operation, CAM Connection v11 or earlier will still operate as before.

For operation from within the SmartCAM applications (all except Advanced Milling and Free Form Machining) you will need to edit your application's INI file, located in your SmartCAM configuration directory.

Find this section:

[CamConSetup]


CamConExec=C:\Program Files\SmartCAM\SmartCAMv12\SYSTEM\CAMConnection.exe

Change the path/filename to your camcon.exe location.
CamConExec=c:\sm9\system\camcon.exe

You will still be able to run CAM Connection V12 as a stand-alone application after making this change. To switch back to CAM Connection V12, simply replace the same INI path with the V12 path.
