Topic: Using ShowPath with Advanced Fabrication Technote 220 Date: April 2006 Product: Advanced Fabrication (others, too) Version: v13.x and up Problem: With a complex model, it is very hard to see what is being punched with ShowPath in Afab. Solution: Use the Show/Hide functionality and hide everything from view. This does not make the toolpath inactive as does Mask/Unmask, but rather removes the display from the graphics view. Use the Group Arrow and pick a few elements, click Hide, click a few more elements, click Hide, etc. The Group Arrow remains active during this process. Or Select All and pick Hide. Show Path will now start with an empty graphics view making viewing punch hits on complex models much easier.
