Robert Geddings to Direct Quality Team

November 1, 2004 - Eugene Oregon - SmartCAMcnc, exclusive developers of SmartCAM, announced today that Bob Geddings has been named CAM Software Release Manager for the software company.

He will oversee SmartCAM product integration and release processes and will manage the company's quality control and assurances group.

Geddings brings over 19 years experience in the computer and software development industry including 15 years with Point Control and its successor companies, CAMAX Manufacturing Technologies, Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC) and EDS PLM Solutions. His previous SmartCAM experience includes serving as SmartCAM Quality Assurance Manager, Technical Product Manager, and Release Manager. Additionally, Geddings has software management experience in both e-commerce and materials resource and process planning industries.

"With Bob's vast experience, knowledge and understanding of the real-world requirements of delivering a quality SmartCAM product to our international customer base, he is the ideal person to take charge of our release program." said Gregg Olson, SmartCAMcnc president.
