SmartCAM Production Turning v12 Released

March 18, 2005 - Eugene Oregon - SmartCAMcnc has announced the release of SmartCAM Production Turning v12. Already in release are SmartCAM CAM Connection v12 and Production Milling v12.

SmartCAM Advanced Turning v12 is scheduled for release in early April 2005, with SmartCAM Advanced Fabrication v12, SmartCAM Advanced Wire EDM v12, SmartCAM Advanced Milling v12, CAM Connection v12.1 for IGES Surfaces & Wireframe Geometry, and FreeForm Machining v12 due out shortly following.

Version 12 represents SmartCAMcnc's first releases of its industry-pioneering CAM software since the company was founded in December, 2003. Prior to that time, the software sat idle while it was owned but not developed by a series of companies. These new releases are the first by any company since 1998.
