Group Selection by Workplane - V19.0

The Group toolbar has a new Plane selection mode, which can be used to place all elements associated with a selected workplane into the active group. The workplane can be directly selected in the list view or by element in the graphics view.

This feature makes it extremely easy manage models that use multiple workplanes, for example rotary axis or multiple part setups.

New Workplane Pop-up Menu Options - V19.0

New options have been added to the workplane right mouse button pop-up menu in the list view. These options reduce the number of mouse clicks required to control the mask and visibility state of elements associated with workplanes.

Open Code File in Text Editor - V19.0

A new Open Code File option on the Process - Code dialog launches the default NC code editor and opens the code file when processing is complete. This functionality uses Windows file associations, so the editor that is used depends upon the file extension of the output file.

Most Recently Used Macro List - V19.0

A "Most Recently Used" (MRU) list has been added to the Macro menu. It works like the MRU list at the bottom of the File menu. Each time a macro is executed from the Macro - Execute command, the MRU list is updated. The most recently run macro is shown in the top slot of the list, and previously executed macros are moved down one in the list.

This feature is a big time saver for users that have macro based customizations that are typically executed with the Macro � Execute menu.

Delete Key for Active Group Deletion - V19.0

The Delete Group function is now tied to the Delete key. Whenever a modal group picking option is active, for example the group arrow or layer/step picking modes, the Delete key will delete the active group. When a panel or dialog box input field is active the Delete key continues to delete the selected characters in the input field.

This feature makes it extremely quick to pick and delete unwanted geometry.

Element Data Improvements - V19.0

The Element Data utility has been updated to display both the radius and diameter values for wireframe arcs and surface cone, torus, and sphere elements. Additionally, the axis top and bottom coordinates are also displayed for surface cone, torus, and sphere elements. The data display format for all element types has been modified to accommodate longer names and produce better alignment between related fields. These improvements result in greater data consistency between elements, and improved readability.

Job Operation Planner Color Coding - V19.0

A Color check box has been added to the bottom of the Job Operation Planner window. When this option is enabled, the entries in the Process Step List and Tool List tabs are displayed using the color associated with the related Step or Tool.

Group Hole Keep Original Option - V19.0

The wireframe Group Hole function has been enhanced to include a new Keep Original option. This option, when off, allows the selected arcs that meet the search criteria to be replaced by the created hole or hole feature elements, thereby simplifying the model and eliminating the steps that would otherwise be necessary to manually delete the arcs.
