Create User Regions - V19.0

Building on the region concept introduced in version 18 for rest machining, version 19 provides a new User Region modeling tool that allows custom region elements to be defined for virtually any feature. Region elements are 2D closed boundaries comprised of "Part" and/or "Stock" profiles, and used as input to the Region Rough process. Regions can be comprised of all Part, all Stock, or a mixture of Part and Stock on the outer boundary, and may contain any number of inner Part and/or Stock profiles.

The Region Rough process uses the additional Part and Stock profile information in order to offset the boundary and generate efficient toolpath to machine the region.

This feature provides maximum control when defining roughing toolpath. When used in conjunction with the new Part Offset path type, the number of slotting cuts and plunges into material are greatly reduced. Wherever possible, cuts start and end outside the stock boundary.
