SmartCAM Production Turning™ is our entry‑level Toolpath Modeling solution for Lathe OD, ID and Face Roughing, Semi‑Finishing & Finishing operations, Grooving, Part‑Off, Threading and on‑centerline Hole Making operations.

Wireframe boundaries can be extracted from Solid Models for use in Production Turning processes.

Production Turning does not support Rotary / Indexable axes, Y‑Axis or Milling Processes.

For programming Turned Part Machining Centers, Mill / Turn,

and Twin‑Turret / Twin‑Spindle Lathes

Builds on Production Turning functionality: supports Turning, Milling and Hole Making Processes, Positional C/B Indexable axes, Y‑Axis and multi‑Axis turret, multi‑Axis spindle machinery.

A single simultaneous rotary axis is can be programmed using Wrapped Toolpath modeling.

SmartCAM Advanced Turning™ uses both wireframe and solid data and provides automated machining toolpath creation directly on a prismatic solid model.
